The convention is held annually in the summer, and while attendance is required for active membership, it is strongly encouraged for alumni to join, volunteer, and assist the National Board in ensuring the success of this event. This opportunity isn't a volunteer position itself, but rather a chance for alumni to actively contribute and engage with other alumni and active members, gaining insight into APS's current status. It's a valuable opportunity to reconnect with our roots, reflecting on our journeys since our days as active Alphas, and a chance to reunite with fellow alumni. Furthermore, for any alumni interested in volunteering, there is no cost associated with attending the convention itself; however, it's important to note that any associated travel expenses, accommodation, and other incidental costs are the responsibility of the individual.
